Dr. Vidmantas Petraitis brings significant experience in molecular biology and infectious disease control to advance our understanding of the challenges faced by the healthcare industry

Dr. Petraitis is the Assistant Professor of Research in Medicine, Associate Director of the Laboratory Animal Facility and Director of Antimicrobial Pharmacology Unit in the Transplantation-Oncology Infectious Diseases Program at Weill Cornell Medicine of Cornell University. The translational research mission of this Program is to develop new strategies for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of life-threatening infections in immunocompromised children and adults.

Dr. Petraitis’s work has been published in leading journals including Medical Mycology and Methods in Molecular Biology

Dr. Petraitis has an MD from Kaunas Medical School, Lithuania
