Clarke Gray, CFO

Clarke serves the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) function for PurpleSun, overseeing financial operations.

Clarke is the founder of Delta CFO, a professional services firm offering outsourced CFO services. He was the former Chief Financial Officer at Grail Partners LLC and the Chalice Fund LP.

Prior to Grail, Clarke served as CFO of BKF Capital Group, Inc., the publicly traded parent of Levin Asset Management, Inc., an SEC registered asset manager and as FinOp for their broker dealer, Levin Securities LLC. Additional roles include being Chief Administrative Officer of ADP Clearing & Outsourcing Services Inc., and having responsibility for the Strategic Acquisition group in the Financial Industry division. Earlier in his career Clarke was the Chief Operating Officer of ING N.V. in North America, and was based in London as the Global Chief Operating Officer for the newly formed ING Barings. He’s also served at Bank of Boston and Thomson McKinnon Securities in various executive financial roles after becoming a certified public accountant at Price Waterhouse Coopers in New York.

Clarke is a Certified Public Accountant, has a Master’s of Business Administration in finance from St. John’s University and Bachelor of Arts in economics from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
